ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE CONSERVANCY

The Atmosphere Conservancy aims to benefit the community economically, socially, and environmentally via the development of renewable energy systems and technologies at the community level. By providing funding and technical resources to affordable housing agencies, schools and non-profit organizations, TAC strengthens the interface between social, economic and environmental sustainability. Our projects deliver renewable energy systems to those entities where the benefits of freed-up resources can be felt in positive impacts across the community. Liberated from paying high utility bills to non-renewable energy suppliers, non-profits, schools and residents of low income housing will be better able to focus their talents and lives on missions critical to a healthy sustainable community.

Every dollar we raise works three ways to alleviate these pressing problems:

1. Cutting Carbon Emissions.

By focusing on the installation of renewable energy systems TAC plans to prevent thousands of tons of carbon from being dumped into our atmosphere.

2) Creating Jobs.

With jobs disappearing by the thousands on a daily basis, TAC is putting people back to work with well paying jobs, building a new Green Economy that does not contribute to catastrophic climate change, and that does contribute to the well-being of our communities.

3) Supporting our Communities

By installing proven non-polluting technologies like solar and wind on affordable housing, we reduce the utility bills of people who can least afford them; while providing green power for schools, we free up resources for education while cutting carbon emissions; by providing free renewable power to non-profits, we reduce their utility bills and allow them to spend more of their limited funds helping others.

Together with leading experts in the field of renewable energy, TAC is working to increase our chances of building a secure future for our planet, one that is free from the devastating effects of a fossil fuel economy.
