The Governor's Energy Office (GEO) established the Solar Rebate Program in response to the growing demand for renewable energy initiatives to allow homeowners and businesses to harness Colorado's abundant solar resources.

Rebates for home and business owners will be issued for systems installed after the official launch date of February 2, 2009 only.
Rebates Available
- Residential Solar Hot Water (SDHW): Rebates of up to $3,000
- Small Business Solar Hot Water (SHW): Rebates of up to $9,000
- Residential Photovoltaics (PV): Rebates of up to $9,000
- Small Business Photovoltaics (PV): Rebates of up to $15,000
- Orphan Hot Water System Repairs: Rebates of up to $3,000
How to Participate
- Visit our website at www.atmosphereconservancy.org for details about which rebates are available, how to apply and to collect the appropriate forms.
- Get an energy audit done on your home.
- Select a solar installer and obtain a system design and quote. (Choosing from 2-3 quotes is recommended).
- Submit part one of the rebate application to The Atmosphere Conservancy, along with the required documentation.
- Once your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive a "rebate reservation" from The Atmosphere Conservancy.
- You will have 90 days from your rebate reservation date to complete the system installation.
- Submit part two of the rebate application along with required documents to The Atmosphere Conservancy once the installation is complete.
- Rebates will be processed and issued within 6-8 weeks.
- Receive your rebate check - Sit back and enjoy clean and renewable energy and energy savings!
